Impressed of Wordpress Date Style, Lars Gersmann (orangevolt) have been made a guide about how to adopt this style into our blogspot date header.
After examining that trick was just placing an calendar background behind the month and day text I wrote a small unobtrusive Javascript Calendar View implementing that behaviour for my Google Blogger Account.
The Calendar Widget can be embedded by modifying just a few lines of your Google Blogger Account template
